About us

We were formed 15 years ago and specialize in reproducing art in its various forms.  You can see on our ‘what we do’ pages examples of what we do, but if anything is not listed please ask.

Our philosophy is to work ‘with’ our clients, rather than ‘for’ them, to produce images that we can both be proud of.  We are always happy to answer questions about production techniques, if you are not sure about anything just ask!

We use the most advanced digital and photographic techniques available so we can provide you with accurate representations of your art either for print or the web.  We shoot with a Betterlight Super 6k, to ensure an outstanding level of detail.  Each file is profiled in house to ensure accurate colour reproduction.

What is Giclee

We are asked “What is Giclee”. In giclee printing, no screen or other mechanical devices are used and therefore there is no visible dot screen pattern. The image has all the tonalities and hues of the original painting. Giclee is a French term meaning to spray or squirt, which is how an inkjet printer works. Special light-fast inks are used, which, if kept out of the sun, will remain true for up to 50 years.
